The great thing about my work is that it’s rarely the same thing twice!
Last week I helped an engineering client to deliver a successful exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham at Maintec Expo. Yesterday I spent a day meeting vineyard owners in the Cognac region of France, discussing business development with Jesse Knight of ManvsWine!
Working with CBM Partners Ltd and Erbessd-Instruments Inc was an incredible journey over the last 6 months. I worked with a team of engineers, working in the very specialist field of machine condition monitoring. I wouldn’t say it was like herding cats….but engineers do have “their ways” – they are always trying to improve on things. Seriously though, the whole team was superb. Their passion and knowledge enabled us all to deliver what turned out to be the best show that they’d ever done!

By contrast, Jesse Knight at Man Vs Wine specialises in a very different field and one that is very close to my heart…..wine!
I spent the day with Jesse meeting some of his long standing wine producers from the boutique vineyards of the Bordeaux region, as well as a very well known but local Cognac producer.
We shared ideas about business development, marketing and organisation.
